Hi all
<edit: we have:
Devices | Software version |
TMS | 13.2 |
VCSC | X7.2 |
VCSE | X7.2 |
MSE Supervisor 8050 | 3.0 |
Telepresence Server 8710 | 3.0 |
CUCM | 8.6.2.20000-2 |
CTS MAN | 1.8.1 |
CTS-3010 | CTS 1.9.3 |
Noting each CTS also has the Presentation Codec.
We 'upgraded' to TPS 3.0 last week, to fix the bug with SX20 audio. Now we find we have lost 30fps sharing between CTS rooms when calling via TPS.
But according to the 3.0 release note
"In this release the TelePresence Server can be configured to run in one of two modes. In locally managed mode all the current functionality and behavior
of the TelePresence Server is retained including the current API. This is the default setting that takes effect on upgrade, so there is no loss of functionality when upgrading to version 3.0"
Now you might not consider losing 30fps sharing a 'loss of functionality' but we sure do.
Is it the case that 3.0 now requires Conductor to support 30fps presentation sharing? Has Cisco come forward to offer a free Conductor for people who didn't need it, had 30fps sharing, but now find that 3.0 has in fact been a 'loss of functionality'?
Thanks
Mike

Please alsways mention which software versions you run on the involved systems and mention how the call flow looks like.
At least with CTS 1.8 it does not seem to be supported: CSCty17742 , I am not sure about the other versions,
only found it in the 1.8 guide vs. TPS2.2
Please contact your Cisco partner or contact regards the Conductor.
Regards the issue itself, if you do not get an answer here and you are sure it worked with TPS2
and there is nothing which changed or could cause this please contact TAC.
Dont forget to update us on how you solved it.

Thanks Martin, I've updated the question - we have presentation codecs and latest CTS version too.
Cheers
