TX9000 Display/Camera Color Adjustment Issue

Hi Experts,

We have recently implemented TX9000 and everything is working ok apart from the color difference in Center and Left/Right Display.

We can see, Left and Right Display have the same color but the Center Display have the Florecent color.

It is clearly visible in the SELF VIEW and well as the remote participant also.

Enclosed is the Photos for the reference.

Any Idea?

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Manish Gupta

Hi.

So this issue is present at a remote site? In other words you are having issues with your cameras?

HI,

Im not very sure.

Thanks,

Manish

Hey Manish,

Which version of code are you running on the TX9000?  Was it upgraded from the original code it came with?

Thanks,

Paula

Hi Paula,

This is TX 1.9.3(44) is the version.

Yes It upgraded from the shipped version (1.9.0).

Thanks,

Manish

Hi Marius,

I meant to say is, the Self-View of left and right Screen is of same color but the color for Center Screen is very different.

It seems that we are in 2 different rooms.

The same experiance is felt by the remote Video participants as well.

Thanks,

Manish

Manish,

Did you calbrate the cameras using auto adjust and the included camera targets?:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/telepresence/tx9000/assembly_guide/tx9000_first_time_setup.html#wp1141362

The issues are usually related to room lighting. If you did adjust the cameras, the light in the room might be hitting the target in the center differently from the left/right. As a workaround can you try to auto adjust the cameras with a sheet of white paper? Hold a sheet of white paper (or a whiteboard, whatever you have) a foot or so from the each camera and auto-adjust them from the GUI. If you see good results with the paper workaround, I would investigate lighting issues. In our labs, we don't always have camera targets so we frequently adjust using this method.

Hi Manish,

It seems that we are having the same issue here in turkey, i would just like to confirm that with the workaround mentioned above will correct this issue.
