i have a Cisco 3640 with FXO ports which are connected to normal PSTN telephone line,it's been used to terminate calles to users.
i need to know if there is a way to send fack caller ID from the FXO port so the reciver of the call doesn't know what is my Caller ID.
Note: Dialing *67 befor the call doesn't work here

Can you post your configuration in here ? than we all can have a look ! Is there a Callmanager involved ?

A good way to do this is to use "translation rules" to change the calling number.
Then on the POTS dial-peer, use 'translate outgoing calling-number x"
This will translate the calling-number to a number you specify in the translation-rule.
