Will doing this cause me headaches?

I have a VCS control, all Tandberg and Cisco endpoints, ISDN gateway, and a couple of 8420 MSE Media blades.  Will I be asking for trouble if I set up a system with an E.164 1012, while the prefix for one of my MSE Media blades is 101?  I just tested it, and I did not have any problems, but I have seen how things work fine when testing, and blow up when in production.

I can change the aliases, however, I'd like to get your opinions.

Thanks!

I've always tried to keep my E.164 addresses very different to any prefixes to stop any overlap.

While it may work for you now - what happens when you (or someone who doesn't know better) create something on the MSE blade with just the number "2".  This will then, with the prefix, be 1012, the same as the E.164 of your codec... where's the call going to go then?
