Can anyone suggest if remote commands can be routed to the Sony cameras as below:
The Sony Camera is connected via the Cisco codec, the codec has a limited amount of camera commands it can send.
Are you able to advise how to send those commands via the Cisco CLI?
There is no VISCA command to reboot this camera but the below commands can be used to remotely power on/off the cameras.
Command Packet Comments
8x 01 04 00 02 FF Camera Power ON
8x 01 04 00 03 FF Camera Power OFF

There are no CLI commands to send custom Visca to the cameras, only the in-built camera controls that work with the Cisco cameras. The PrecisionHD cameras use the same Visca commands, but these particular ones do not appear to be visible to the CLI or API. Do the cameras you use have network connectivity, if so, you may be able to use CE9 macros to be able to send web commands to the camera over the Ethernet. This is how we do some things with non-Cisco cameras such as triggering certain presets or actions.
