I need to enable remote monitoring on Codec Pro. How can I obtain the activation key? Is this still free of charge?

The key was only free of charge for a short period of time when it was first introduced.   You now need to purchase it.  It retails for US$100.

The part number will depend on the model endpoint you want to purchase it for:

L-PROF-SERIES-RM	Remote monitoring option for Profile series Endpoints
L-MX-SERIES-RM	Remote monitoring option for MX series Endpoints
L-EX-SERIES-RM	Remote monitoring option for EX series Endpoints
L-C-SERIES-RM	Remote monitoring option for C series Endpoints
L-SX-SERIES-RM	Remote monitoring option for SX series Endpoints
L-TP-RM	Remote monitoring options for TelePresence Endpoints
L-DX-SERIES-RM	Remote monitoring option for DX series Endpoints
L-ROOM-RM	Remote monitoring option for Cisco SPARK ROOM Systems
L-KIT-RM	Remote monitoring option for Room Kit systems
L-BOARD-RM	Remote monitoring option for Cisco Webex Board
L-DESK-SERIES-RM	Remote monitoring option for Desk series Endpoints

Is there an activation key for Room Bar? Or is activation key even necessary anymore?

Yes, you can purchase the option key for a Room Bar.  L-ROOM-RM (L-TP-RM) is the option you will need - this is listed on the Data Sheet.
