Afternoon,
We are looking at implementing Video Mesh across the organisation.
When we looked at this in the past, P2P calls between Cloud Registered endpoints (e.g Site A <> Site B) , the media would still traverse the hybrid media node. This requires a lot more bandwidth at the Sites that host the Video Mesh node.
Does anyone know if this is being looked at in the future? P2P calling for Cloud registered endpoints, across the WAN.
I realise CUCM registered endpoints can do this, and they can dial into the Video mesh, via SIP trunk, but then we lose some of the other cloud features that we need, that CUCM does not provide.
Regards
Dion
