Hi,
i have a problem with EX/MX enpoints which registered on CUCM. I can`t add those devices to the TMS server for schedule purposes. I have successfully added CTS devices but for the EX / MX devices i got a wrong username/password. I have configured a admin user and password in CUCM on the device. I can see the devices in TMS on the CUCM which i have addedd successfully to TMS.
Here is a screen if i try to add the devices under " Unified CM" Tab in TMS:
Where should i configure the user and password on TMS for this devices?
On the CUCM Application user the devices are added.
If i add the devices manually via IP i can configure a user/pass but not if i try to add them from CUCM.
Any suggestions?
Best regards
Thorsten

Hi Thorsten,
Unfortunately it is a know bug: CSCud95411
You can use this workaround to add the system to Cisco TMS:
1) Set a blank password on the endpoint,
2) Add the endpoint to Cisco TMS, and
3) Change the password to something

It looks like internal proxy settings on TMS.
Could you please check it with this command:
bitsadmin /util /getieproxy localsystem
And if you will receive "AUTO" please run this command:
bitsadmin /util /setieproxy localsystem no_proxy

Ok. Now i have the following. After adding the devices it looks good:
But after short time the status changed to "no http response" . I could then re-connect in TMS it looks good but it changed after some time to "no http response".
That happens only in one branch office. The other Branches are OK.
Any idea? There is no proxy in use internal.

Hmm getting this back:
Unable to get Internet proxy settings - 0x80070002
But tried the other command and after that i see that it is set to "no proxy". Did a refresh on the endpoints and now i will wait some time and give feedback.
thx so far.
UPDATE:
happens again very quick. :-(

I have seen this before, when you have TMS in AD Domain and group policy push this proxy "AUTO" settings.
"Unable to get Internet proxy settings - 0x80070002" This ine means that your user account does not have right to read this information. In Windows 2008 you can runc CMD as admin, it usually helps.

I have set it up but it happens again.
Current Internet proxy settings for account localsystem:
(connection = default)
Proxy usage: NO_PROXY

Just to close this. In the end i have to login with the service account on which the TMS services running and disable the explorer auto proxy settings.
Maybe this helps someone in the future.
Thanks for your help.
