I am running new VM's
1. Running Windows 2012 and successful install of TMS 15.3.0
2. Running Windows 2012 with successful install of SQL 2008 R2
New new tmsng login and password is different than the one I had with the back up.
had to create new login other than sa due to unable to enable roles dbcreator and securityadmin on the new SQL .. would not let me. So I created the new login and password and used it for the 15.3.0.
I did a restore of both the .bak and .trn files which were from TMS 15.2.1.
Now I am receiving the following error from my IE browser: Incorrect TMS database version detected
Is there a fix or do I have to uninstall TMS only 15.3.0 and install 15.2.1 to get it working???
thank you.

You can use SQL Management Studio to change the db_owner of the database. If you need to also change the account that TMS uses to access the database, you'd use TMS Tools.

You need to install the same version of TMS that matches the database version, so you need to uninstall TMS 15.3 and instead install 15.2.1, then you can upgrade to TMS 15.3. You can't run a different version of TMS than what your database is running.

I need to change the owner of the DB. I am currently using the sa account which I can no longer use so I have to change it to another account.
Where can I change the DB owner for the tmsng DB ???
Thanks.
