I'm trying to create a DNS test that will check for a change in a record. I've created the test with the desired URL and created an alert if the mapping doesn't match x.x.x.x. No alert is ever generated.
Is it possible to create an alert for when a DNS record changes?

I have not tried DNS Alerts, but i can see other alerts works for me as expected :
have you looked at the Alerts you have created - is other alerts working ?

Yes, alerts work fine.
I've looked at those links you sent. In the tutorial, it says specifically in the video that it 'includes alerting on an incorrect DNS mapping' so this should be available.
I assume mapping is the field to be used where you want the correct resolution entry to be shown. But it doesn't seem to work.

how is your setup and what version of 1keye runing.

The key is in how you set the alert. Since there are 2 records returned for the lookup, the !mappings have to be on the same condition line, not on separate lines. Once I put the 2 entries on the same line, everything worked
