Cisco Modeling labs issue with Kvm/vmx

Hello Team,

I am facing below issues in the CML, could anyone assist please.

I have launched CML free tier with help os vm ware workstation pro, but inside the CML dashboard, I am seeing KVM/VMX is not ready in the system status panel.

Other thing is If I start any node in the lab, I am getting server-0: No compute host can start nodes, rejecting all node starts (cml-controller has virtualization disabled.)

Please see the screenshot attached below.

Hi @nagarajan-barath,

You need to expose CPU virtualization features to your VM. How you do this depends on your virtualisation platform.

KVM/Proxmox: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/quick-docs/using-nested-virtualization-in-kvm/
VirtualBox: https://docs.oracle.com/en/virtualization/virtualbox/6.0/admin/nested-virt.html
ESXI: Edit your VM, expand the CPU section and toggle "Expose hardware assisted virtualization to the guest OS"

Happy to help! Please mark as helpful/solution if applicable.
