Error: Error writing to file /var/cache/yum/x86_64/7/updates/gen/primary_db.sqlite: [Errno 28] No space left on device
make sure you have enough space to install.
check below guide :

thanks for your reply.
I think that the installation path is /dev/loop11 which is mounten on /
Question(s):
1. Is there an option to enlarge the volume?
2. Change the install path?
3. any other options?
Thanks

I found a solution and it works
When more space is needed in the Guest Shell root file system for installing or running packages, the guestshell resize roofs size-in-MB command is used to increase the size of the file system.
documented in
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus9000/sw/7-x/programmability/guide/b_Cisco_Nexus_9000_Series_NX-OS_Programmability_Guide_7x/Guest_Shell.html
Thanks for your support
