2 Unity Instances communicating

We have 2 separate unity systems running. Is there a way to have both Unity instances recognize each other?

For example, when a customer dials company A's directory handler, perhaps they want someone in Company B (a subsidiary). Right now there is no way to do that? Any advice would be great!
