Recently,I found some 7912(7912G-A) will lost all of their DHCP config suddenly(include DHCP server & tftp server and gw ip),and change to Fallback mode,after restart the 7912,it will be ok.I think the network is fine since the computer connect to the ip phone is no problem.What's the problem,is in ipphone or DHCP server?

you capture a sniffer trace off the back of the 7912. You may download a free sniffer pease install it on a laptop or PC that is
connected to the back of the 7912. Start capturing and reset the phone so you can see the process that it follows to request and accept the DHCP packets from the servers to find out if ther is any issues in getting the DHCP ip address

i got cisco 870 router, it loses dhcp configuration only every time, without restart or any change in the network.
any solution?
