Is there a way to access the example administrator through outlook express. I have used outlook express to get at individual subscriber accounts but when I put in EAdmin as a user id and set the password at users and computers it does not work.

There's nothing special about the Example Administrator account - it's just a mail user. I suspect you're using the wrong login Id or password. EAdmin is not the login name - it gets a system ID tacked onto it so it doesn't conflict with other systems installed into the main directory. You'll need to look up the info in AD or something to make sure you're logging in with the right ID.

If I go to active directory users I find EAdmin3cdbe1b4. Is that what you mean? I tried that and can't get it to work. I changed the password for this account. thx for your help

pop3 is not enabled by default on exchange 2000 and exchange 2003. Open exchange system manager, go to the server, protocols, enable pop3.

It the EA account able to be logged into using the web mail feature?
In order to use the web mail login it would be:
http://{server ip address}/exchange
Then just login like you would with Outlook Web Access.
Just a thought.
