Are recorded name and greeting are stored in both SQL and AD or only in one of them? I believe name is stored in both, but not greeting. If recorded name and greeting are in AD, under which OU I can see them? Thanks

In versions of Cisco Unity prior to 3.x, all Cisco Unity data (except for recorded greetings) was stored in the directory

Post 3.x, Unity data is stored in both the SQL database and the AD.

Recorded voice names and greetings are stored in files on the Cisco Unity server (in the \CommServer\StreamFiles directory) and not in the SQL database.

only the voice name is stored in AD - neither are stored in SQL - all voice names and greetings can be found under commserver\stream files\ - links to those file names are found in SQL.

The voice name is stored as a property on the user object in AD, it's not in an OU.

This white paper has details on the directory usage of Unity that may be helpful:
