Hey all,

i have CUCM and CUP (11 version) with domain xxx.net and i want to change that domain to be xxx.com, is there any issue in CCX (11 version), Finnese and mediasense ? because the three servers is handle with another vendor.

Thanks and regards,

Ferly

Each application has applicable document on how to do that, for CCX it will invalidate existing licenses file, so you will need to rehost it with licensing@cisco.com, a reboot of each server will be necessary as well.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your reply,

I just want to change domain in CUCM and CUP only, not in CCX, because i handle CUCM and CUP. CCX handled with another person and not change domain.

CUCM , CCX, Finnesse and mediasense already communicate. CUCM with domain xxx.net and want to change to be xxx.com, but CCX, Finnesse and mediasense with domain xxx.org ( not change domain).

So if i change domain in CUCM and CUP only is there any issue or any impact communication between CUCM and CCX,Finnesse and mediasense ?

Thanks

No issue assuming your DNS servers can properly resolve the hostnames, SRVs, etc. in the new domain, and assuming you follow the documentation on how to make the changes.  I am also assuming you are also just changing the domain the servers use and not your Jabber domain used by IMP as that is different animal.
