backup unity

We are deploying Unity Connection cluster in Active-Active mode in two data centers.

for taking Backup, each sever in the cluster backup need to be taken separately as they will be having different messages etc.

During Restore, do we need to follow same, Pub backup to Pub and sub to sub.
