We have a new Unity deployment for a new Exchange implementation which is in piolt stage at present. The customer only has Bridgehead servers installed and working - can Unity partner the Bridgeheads ? Also what happens when additional mailstores come on line - will we have to run Permissions again for the new mailstore.

Hello -
We have Unity 4.0(4) partnered to our Exchange bridgehead server. It is also the SMTP virtual server for our domain in the AD forest as well as the host for several Exchange gateways. This works well - it does not serve as mailbox stores for our customers. It does host the Unity mailbox that is used by external callers for voice messages to subscribers. When you add new information stores where subscribers will be hosted, you will need to rerun the Permissions wizard. If you don't, subscribers will be unable to open voice messages (from our own learning experience). I recommend creating the information stores and then run the Unity permissions wizard for those new ones. Following that, you can create or move subscribers to those stores.
