dears how are you.

i'm having issue with calls between two branches.

Branch 1 =  is having DC and the CM is there

Branch 2 =  the phones are connected to Branch's 1 CM.

the issue :

when John [ Branch 2 ] is calling Alisa [ Branch 1 ], the call is established between them and there phones are ringing.

but when they answer they can't hear each other.

Although the ping from Access layer [ Branch 2 ] to CM [ Branch 1 ] is reachable successfully

what do you thing the issue?

Voice travels directly between endpoints, unless there's an MTP/TRP involved which is not the usual case.

Your test of pinging the CUCM server is useless due to the above, as CUCM is not in the voice path, and that just means ping is enabled in your network, not RTP.

No audio or one way audio are most of the times routing/firewall/ACL issues, so, make sure endpoint A in branch1 and endpoint B in branch2 can directly communicate with RTP between them.

the issue is the Fortigate firewall is allowing every thing expect voice vlans
