I am in the process of making a call handler and i have few questions.
I need to have the call to be transfer to an external number or an internal ext. with no mailbox (not a unity subs)
Can we do this since the only transfer option is only to a subscriber?
in my understanding, A subscriber is a user in the unity, has a voicemailbox.
Do i need to make another call handler for transferring to an internal ext.? but i would not be able to transfer it to an external number.
Thank you,

Brad, It works for internal number.
How about transferring to an external number?
Can we do that or it will just create a security risk and no option for this?

Yes, you can transfer to external numbers, but you are correct, it can pose a security risk if you're not careful. You'll need to ensure your CS_Default_System_Transfer restriction table only allows the numbers you're allowing users to dial to reach external #'s.
â¢Caller System Transfer-Sends the call to a conversation that allows callers to transfer to a number that they specify. For example, callers may want to dial a lobby or conference room phone that is not associated with a Cisco Unity subscriber. Cisco Unity performs the transfer only when the CS_Default_System_Transfer restriction table permits it.
