Call handler Transfer to cucm with same pattern but different partition

Hello Team

We are using a centralized  CUC & CUCM system for remote sites and migrating sites to this system. Now there are some requirements from the remote sites to do call transfer to their  users extension(4 digits) when a call come the main line which is a Call handler with Greetings in CUC. Now we have an issue with number overlapping  of last 4 digit of the DID for EG.7xxx from 2 locations.

Out dial plan is with  main extensions are  E.164 number in same partition for all sites.  In order to dial short codes we use 4 digit translation pattern to the E.164 number. So we created  new internal partitions for each site with this 4 digit pattern so this is available only to the local sites. But now the problem is call transferring from the CUC to CUCM.

How can we achieve this call transferring from CUC to CUCM with 4 digit(7XXX) for different sites? We are using SIP trunk between CUCM and CUC.

Regards

Sulfi

Assuming these call handlers are specific to a site (i.e. AA for a site) if so you can simply use prepand field on the call handler to expand the entered 4 digits to the site specific +e164 range.  This would only work if the site has single DID range, otherwise you can get creative and based on first collected digit transfer to other call handlers which collect 3 more digits and prefix different +e164 prefixes.

Hello Chris,

Thank you for you help...

Yes it is working after using the prepend field. But this worked only for users who have existing voicemails with the same E.164 format. For  non cuc users we have to add this same E.164s format ( excluding the 4 digit) in restriction table under Default System Transfer & make sure it is not blocked.
