Hi Experts,
We have four individual contact center setup with CUCM 7.1 at each location.Where across region calling is not yet available.i.e one region can only able to call IP phones which are configured through local call manager.
We are in planning to start inter region calling between all these 4 regions. please share the process for achieving the same.

If you mean you have 4 CUCM clusters, then you can use either ICTs between them or use a GK to achieve calls.

Hello
you have to check the below during the design
1- If there a WAN connectivity between the 4 regions ?.
If yes go a head, but you have also to calculate if there any traffic other voice will be through WAN or not as (data , video ,ect..) . QOS is so important to divide bandwidth between traffic.
2-How many calls will be through WAN?.
You have to select the right codec between regions ex interregion you will use g711 and between regions you will use g729
3-What will you do if WAN connection will be down?.
If WAN is down you must reach to any destination using a backup PSTN , you have to use AAR feature for example.
4-You have to use intercluster without gatekeeper or you can use gatekeeper which will be resonsible to route calls for region A to region B , etc....
Finally for more details go CUCM SRND which will help you also
