calling number not passed to Unity

we are running unity 4.0.4 with ccm 4.1.2

when users retrieve messages and press 5 to get caller information it will say the number of an internal caller but will give unitys dn for external callers has anyone experienced this

Additional notes:

we put a sniffer on the Unity port.

example:

call 3355 and no answer forwards to VM

calling number is 604-555-1212

(Unity pilot number is 250-555-5555)

when the call isn't answered and forwarded to users

mailbox (3355)the following numbers are seen via the sniffer.

called number 3355

calling number 250-555-5555 (unity pilot number)

this should be the calling party's number ?

changed a few parameter within the device/Line for 3355 and some service parameters (relating to caller number) and no difference.

any thoughts would be appreciated.
