Hi all,
I have a special request from customer. They want to integrate Microsoft Link 2010 with CUCM 7.1. They are using this software for Video conferencing, instant messages and voice mail. They want to integrate this with CUCM 7.1. Is is possible that we integrate this with CUCM. If it is possible than how we could do that. They are using SIP protocol for Microsoft Link 2010. If you have any documents for that than please also share that.

You can do a SIP integration as outlined in this document: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/solutions/collateral/ns340/ns414/ns728/ns784/716742.pdf
Alternatively, you can suggest this instead to keep all of the voice/video messaging under one vendor: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/voicesw/ps6789/ps6836/ps11390/data_sheet_c78-635040_ps11390_Products_Data_Sheet.html

Hi Jonathan,
We don't have a Cisco unity server. Than how it could affect our scenario? They are also using Microsoft Link 2010 for voice messaging. We have the following devices. Cisco GW router with one PRI. CUCM 7.1 and Cisco IP Phones. Also we have to integrate PBX with our IP network. They want to use our GW to make a call outside of the network from Microsoft Link 2010. They only have one PRI which will come from PBX. we will use this PRI to connect to PBX and also for outgoing calls. Is it possible or not?

We don't have a Cisco unity server.
What do you currently have or plan on using for voicemail?

Hi Justin,
Client has Microsoft Link 2010 and they are using this for voice mail. We have to integrate this with CUCM. And I hope voicemail will work normally after this integration. What u said about this? I also want to ask they want to use the feature Auto attendant. I don't know much about that. Please tell me what are the software and hardware requirement for this? Is CUCM7.1 will be able to do auto Attendant without other license or server.

Microsoft Lync does not do voicemail. Microsoft Exchange Unified Messaging does and there is an integration document on the topic.
As for Auto Attendant: No CUCM does not do this. You would need to use Exchange UM to serve this purpose.
