Solved: Changing port 5060 of my SIP TRUNK

Hi there

We are planing to change our port number from 5060 to 6060 in our SIP trunk security profile, and this is because for audit purposes, so there is no way we can keep the 5060, so the question is

is there any risk if we pick up any port number? in this case the 6060 port. or does it have to be within specific range?

No, as long as that is not a port that is used commonly for other purpose, and that both systems agree on using it.

Can you a configuration example of how you changed the port on your SIP Trunk?

you can change it from SIP Trunk Security profile and assign it to sip trunk
