changing the hostname on a new Unity 5.0 install

I am nearly finished installing Unity on a new appliance server (5.0) and the client is now telling me they want the server to be named something different. Is this as easy as a windows name change, or are there other Unity implications? The server is already a member of the domain as well.

You need to do a DiRT backup and Restore.
