Cisco Dialer

Is there another application available for users to search and dial other users on their Cisco phones other than Jabber?  I know that Jabber can do this, but my manager thinks there is simpler client for this capability.  I have also showed him Unified CM User Options, but he is hesitant to allow users to search via a browser.  Thank you for any assistance.

If you need another software client to dial you can try to register any SIP phone on your CUCM. If you need another app to control your IP phone examine the 3rd party software like http://aurus5.com/phoneup/agent
