So, I work for a School District that uses CISCO Unified IP Phones 7940 Series and we use the CISCO Jabber Client for Windows to aid us with answering calls.
One of my coworkers has a bunch of Error Notifications and nothing we do removes them from the list so they still have that annoying little yellow triangle on their Floating Tool Bar.
How do you clear them? How do you read them? Why isn't this as simple as left clicking or right clicking or pressing delete when it's highlighted?
Why isn't their documentation on the error cords?

For the invalid certificate, you will have to either accept the certificate when you load up Jabber or make sure that the certificate chain (if CUCM/CUCN/IMP certs are signed) exists on the PC.
Who does the user have for custom contacts (eg. Pizza guy etc)? Can you remove the custom contacts one by one to see which one gives the error.

My coworker simply restarted the machine and the notification no longer exists, maybe this is how the error notifications are read.
I was not able to check for proper certificate acceptance.
We do not know why it has a can't load custom contact, it actually says it on all of our machines.
