Cisco Unified CM Administration - System version: 7.1.5.10000-12
Cluster has 2 CUCMs: CM voip1 and CM voip2.
CM voip1 is the publisher and CM voip2 is the subscriber.
When adding a new group, just one CUCM (CM voip1) is shown available for selection on dropbox "Available Cisco Unified Communications Manager".
I want two options for Cisco 2811.
What I must configure to have both CUCMs on the dropbox?
Thanks
Rosa

The host 147.65.30.7 is not reachable, or it's NTP service is down.
None of the external NTP servers have NTP service accessible
from this host.
Recommended solution:
You can either delete all external NTP servers and use the local
System clock, or you can add valid reachable NTP servers of clock
strata between 2 and 5.
Please use the OS Admin GUI to add/remove NTP servers.
test - ntp_clock_drift : Passed
test - ntp_stratum : Failed
The reference NTP server is a stratum 11 clock.
NTP servers with stratum 5 or worse clocks are deemed unreliable.
Please consider using an NTP server with better stratum level.
Please use OS Admin GUI to add/delete NTP servers.

In CLI, you can use the utils ntp server add/delete commands to modify that configuration.

It seems that version 7 does not have this comand:
admin:utils ntp
utils ntp config
utils ntp restart
utils ntp start
utils ntp status

Are logged into the OS GUI of the Publisher?

Yes via SSH to publisher

I have figured out that, all this trouble started when network administrator asked to change publisher/subscriber subnet.
In addition publisher reboot had shown a kind of disk error that I was unable to precisely identify.
First of all, colleague had only changed main IPs on each server though provoking publisher/subscriber unable to talk each other (their secondary publisher/subscriber IPs were not changed). After ajusting thier secondary IPs I am having this old ntp server ip boring my environment. I tried to have it changed via web interface, but it was an unsuccessful trie.
Perhaps another publisher reboot may help. I do not know.

Sounds like a number of variables here adding up to a headache. Disk/firmware errors were not uncommon on certain server models in 7.1(x). If you post search for the error you received, you may well find it in the forums and/or the Cisco bug toolkit. If this a new install, I would recommend that you consider a fresh start, replan the install, and maybe upgrade to a more recent version like 8.6 or even 9.1 at this point. Of course, there are other considerations in that as well but might not be a bad idea.
Good luck!

That is the point I was thinking about.
Can I reuse those licenses after upgrading servers version ?
02-09-2013 06:30 AM
Major version upgrades require current UCSS support and feature licensing so no, you cannot simply reuse those licenses to upgrade to a new version. You would also need a new license if you change hardware on the Publisher.

Uauu! buying a new version turn things a little bit hard to solve.
Re-installing 7.1 maybe an alteranative forced choise.
Even thouth if everything goes wrong .... someone may decide on upgrading.
Thanks a lot.
