Hi all,
i have some trouble with CUPC failover.
I using CUPS (cisco unified presence server) 8.6 and CUPC (cisco unified personal communicator) 8.5
i have 2 node for the CUPS.
i try to test failover for CUPC and fail.
In CUPC, we have to insert the CUPS server in "change server" field.
In my scenario, i shutdown the publisher server, and try to login without changing the "change server" parameter to subscriber node. It is fail.
but when i change to subcriber ip address, it can login.
Is it suppose to be changed manually?
Need help
Thx

Hi Anju Josua,
How you solve the problem?
is it manually change the server name?
thank you

Hi Ck lee,
i don't manually change the server name.
make sure you enable HA, CUPC will automatically download the second server configuration when it is login.
so, when the primary down, it will automatically register to the second sever.
