Hello All,
I would like to upgrade my Unity 4.2 to Unity Connection 8.5....(the latest version) however, I'm unsure if I need to do any upgrades on my Unity server first before I run the COBRAS tool and export the data. Is this a direct upgrade or do I need to do any patching on the unity server?
I've tried to read through the Upgrade guides but, I'm having a hard time getting a direct answer.
Thanks for any and all help,
Dan

You can only import data from 4.0.3 and 4.0.4 into Unity Connection 7.x or higher. No Unity to Unity migration with pre-4.0.5.

Ok, thank you David. So if I were going to go from 4.0(4) I would need to upgrade it to 4.0(5) first then I could use COBRAS to go from 4.0(5) to Unity 8? or, I could load 4.0(4) onto the new server and DIRT the data from the old server over to the new server then upgrade on that server to 4.0(5) and use COBRAS to go up to 8?
