Cisco Unity connection license

Hi guys,

I need to buy Cisco Unity Connection 8.6 with mailbox license for voice mail service, and the Cisco distributer asked me the part Number of existing server and existing licenses. My question is how can I get those information from my server? I already have CUCM 8.6 (SUB+PUB)

Hi

You don't - the server part numbers are irrelevant (they are just the base hardware, and are typically running virtualisation anyway). 

If you don't have Unity already, then you just need to tell them your CUCM version and they should be able to provide you a reasonable quote. If they can't, switch from a distributor to a channel partner for proper advice...
