CM 6.1 seat licensing

Hello dear experts.

My customer has a Cisco Communication Manager 6.1 and wants to upgrade seat licenses for 2500 seats but the

L-CM6.1-7835= is EoL/EoS. Please tell me can we use

L-CM7.1-7835=

License Unified CM 7.1 7835 Appliance, 2,500 seats, eLD for this?

You have to use CUCM-USR-LIC going forward since the shipping version is 7.1.5 which follows UCL. UCL doesn't count seat licenses anymore.

Sould I use CUCM-USR-LIC user licenses with my CCM 6.1 installation or I should upgrade to 7.1.5 and after buy user licenses?

Yes move to 7.1.5 or later
