Codec Question about SM-X-PVDM-500

Hello,

We are setting up a new customer that requires many simultaneous adhoc conferences. We are looking at an ISR 4000 router that can handle the SM-X-PVDM-500. All calls will be using the G.729 codec. In the datasheet for the SM-X-PVDM-500, it says for G.729: "Supported (mapped to G.729a)". Will this cause any issues if the primary codec is G.729 and not G.729a?

Thank you,

James

No, the capability of this PVDM is the same as standard PVDM4 and supports G729.
