Hello:
After nearly a decade away from Unity (using Exchange UM) we are moving back to CUC. I configured CUC with Single Mailbox using on-prem Exchange 2013 environment. However, before long heavier users were getting quota warnings from CUC. I need to confirm that I basically have two options.
- Use Unified Messaging (single mailbox) so users can manage their voicemails from any platform (phone, email, etc.), but find a way to increase the drive space available for CUC's database and, consequently, increase users' quotas, or
- Use SMTP Relay to deliver voicemails to Exchange, use Aging to keep the CUC database lean, and lose the ability to manage voicemails in the Exchange mailbox from the phone.
Please let me know if my understanding is correct. I appreciate the time and input.
