Cucm 12.5 endpoint registration

Hello,

Just looking for some help...

I have recently installed cucm 12.5 and I have hooked my cisco IP phone (8865-3PCC) into the network. Cucm and the phone are both in the same subnet and the phone is receiving an IP address via dhcp and option 150 which is set up through an AD server. 

Since the phone received an IP address, I now get a welcome screen which asks for an activation code. However I wanted to have auto registration set up through cucm to autodetect phones. However cucm doesn't appear to be doing this. Also the phone cannot find the (config) files from the tftp server. 

Also, when I go to the web interface for the phone, it appears to be missing the sip and provisioning tabs in advanced mode.

Can anyone tell me if I'm missing something with my set up?

When I check the settings on the phone too, it says there is a https://X.X.X.X:443/* Certificate error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. . Thank you!

Your phone has the wrong firmware in it. Based on your shared information you have MPP software on it and you’ll need Enterprise software to use it with CM. Search the community for how to convert the phone from MPP (3PCC) to Enterprise software.
