cucm 8.0 integration with elastix/asterisk.

Hai all,

I am basically a newbie in IP telephony. In my office,asterisk has been used for tha past few years. But we are planning to integrate cucm with the asterisk due to some advancement reasons. The task of doing that has been assigned to us (new joiners).

Heard that creating sip/h323 trunks between the two will lead to sme problems. Culd any one pls help me out with a step by step procedure to do the integration part.

Shouldn't have any problems, you will want to create a SIP trunk on cucm, point it to the asterisk server. Create a route pattern which uses the trunk you created as the Gateway.

On the asterisk server point back to the cucm server in the sip.conf
