Not sure which route to take here.

Calls that are routed to our call center, the routed to another agent and drop the call.

I spent time with Cisco Tac last summer and it was decided when agents are using their communicators, to not check the Optimize for Low Bandwidth. It changes the codec to G.729 instead of the G.711/G.722.

But today, an agent on her communicator on site, Optimize not checked, transferred a call to another agent on site, desk phone 7965, and the call dropped.

Maybe a transcoder issue going on here.

Any ideas?

When you say agent is transferring call to another site, what is the exact call flow:

1) Agent 1 >> CTI Route Point >> Script >> Select Resource step >> Agent 2

2) Agent 1 >> Agent 2

Also, at what point the call is getting dropped
