We have the CUCM, IMP, CUC, Expressway Core and Edge Clusters in Country 1. This is the hub.
We want to setup the CUCM Sub 4, IMP 3 Sub in another country, in here Country 2, where the phones will be registered in their own Device Pool. The Device Pool for Country 2 will have the CUCM Sub 4 and IMP Sub 3 as the first choice. This would allow us to keep the phone registrations and call processing within the country 2.
We also want to keep the install Expressways to ensure that any MRA traffic is confined to country 2 for the Jabber in Country 2 instead of Jabber registering into Expressway of Country 1. Would this be possible.
Or that we should just configure the following to keep things simple.
1. Country 2
CUCM Pub - and integrate over SIP to CUCM Pub of Hub for the extension to extension calls.
IMP - Publisher
CUC - SIP integrate to the CUC at Country 1 so that we don't invest in another CUC Machine.
Expressway Edge Node independent of Expressway Edge at Country 1.
Expressway Core Node. independent of Expressway Core at Country 1.
