CUCM Sip trunk to 3rd party PABX

hi All,

We have recently deployed a CUCM + h323 voice gateway for our enterprise.

We now need to integrate a 3rd party pabx overseas(our counterpart) so that we can make calls with each other.

Is SIP trunk the recommended way to do this? if so how

I understand that we must point to each other's UC IP, but then our UC network is behind a firewall

How do we exactly connect? One way would be to establish site to site VPN to the our overseas counterpart.

Is there any other recommend practice; without purchasing more equipment/devices?

i CUCM: DEVICE > add a trunk and point it to the IP address or host name of the remote 3rd party PBX

I suggest you get a VPN to the remote site, to run it e2e without NAT in the path
