Hi all.
I have seen that IOS translation profiles are very power ful, infact adoption of linux sed. But i dont see that level of power in CUCM translation. Is it correct ? or CUCM translation is as powerful as CME ?

Hi
The two are very different.
IOS is nice, as it's based around regular expressions which are very powerful/flexible. You can do things like take sub-strings from a number and re-use those in the translated number which you can't really do with CUCM.
CCM is much more simplistic - you can match a number, and apply a mask or prefix and drop digits. If you are using a dialplan, you can do a few more fancy things with DDIs... but only to the called number.
