Does anyone have experience deploying CUE on 4000 series ISR using the KVM Service Container?
We have a deployment coming up and wanted to know whether this was a viable option.
Cisco doc says it's supported, looking for any gotchas and feedback on deployment experiences.
Thanks.

Is there any issue with Router Crashing when using CUE virtual on KVM container, anyone experiencing any weird issues as I am planning to use it with CUCME on ISR ?
and do we still need to configure CIMC , ESXi for CUE virtual on KVM container to work ?
how to access the GUI of CUE Virtual on KVM remotely ?
is there any other physical connectivity needed on the ISR 4k apart from normal gi0/0/0 connected to switch port on LAN.

Hi Experts
Since they touch on the issue of CME licenses, I'm about to offer a solution of 15 7821 phones with CME, I remember that with the 2900 series for the CUE (Unity Express) to work, it required the FL-CUE-PORT-2 license, this it's just basic functions of IVR and Call Input in IVR.
I see that in ISR4321 this has changed, I can not find the corresponding license for IVR functions in the 4000 series, someone knows something about it by licensing or similar to FL-CUE-PORT-2 in the 4000 series.
I am considering a UCS module in ISR 4321 for the CUE,
Any response will be well received,
Greetings.

Hello Carlos,
CUE port licenses (e.g. FL-CUE-PORT-2) are no longer required.
When creating a BOM for Cisco 4000 series router you'll get 2 options which you can choose.
CUE-VM ---- Mailbox licenses
CUE-IVR ---- IVR session licenses
OR you can separately add a Top level part code L-CME-CUE and under which you can select the number of Mailbox and IVR session licenses you need to order.
Having said that, its important that you understand basic Auto Attendant on CUE is different from IVR.
you don't need any IVR session licenses when configuring basic Auto Attendant on CUE.
Moreover if you look at below URL its says "From Cisco Unity Express Virtual Release 9.0.3 onwards, the licenses for mailboxes and ports are enabled by default. Moreover, the number of licenses for mailboxes and ports are set to platform maximum"
So, I believe if you are planning to install CUE version 9.0.3 on ISR4k you basically don't need to worry about ordering any licenses but just to be on safe side add 15 x CUE-VM licenses and if you are still not sure about the difference between AA and IVR you can add few CUE-IVR session licenses too.
Regards,
Anil Sharma.
