CUPC and Citrix

Hi,

At a recent cisco briefing I was advised that CUPC Version 8.0(3) worked under a virtualised environment.

Also before my customer purchased CUPC / Presence our Cisco SE advised that CUPC would work in Citrix, but the audio might not. I just want CUPC as a messaging client.

Anyone done this?

We have CUPC as a published application in Citrix XENAPPS6.

Single instance of CUPC works fine, but multiples do not.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Hi,

CUPS 8 (Cisco Unified Presence Server) is supported on VMWare Virtualized environment.

CUPC 8 (Cisco Unified Personal Communicator) is not officially supported on any Virtualized environment:

Installing CUPC 8 on a virtualized environment may encounter abnormal behavior as it is not tested or developed for these platform.
