Guys,
Has anybody implemented CUPs CUPC to talk to ldap over ssl. We are trying to implement this as we are not comfortable with CUPC using plain text to talk to LDAP. Currently we have had no luck with this. We have even upgraded to cups 7.0(4) from 7.0(3) and no joy still.

It is not supported by CUPC. (even though the TLS option is available on CUPS GUI).

That because I told them remove it from GUI to avoid confusions. :)

TLS/SSL was never, ever supported by CUPC. Some customers reported that it actually worked. But per CUPC dev team, it's not supposed to work. LOL.
A feature request has been made. Not sure how sure it can be officially supported.
