CUPS 8.6.5 Upgrade to 10.5

Hello Community,

 

I have tried to do an upgrade from cups version 8.6.5.10000-12 to 10.5.1.10000-9 but it failed. I get the following error message:

"Error detected in post-install phase. Trying to restore the system to the active version, Please wait....

I have also tried to the upgrade with the versions: 10.0.1.10000-26 / 10.5.2.10000-9 but it fails everytime with the same error message.

The cups build a cluster with a cm, who is already on version 10.5.

Do you have any idea, whats wrong about that?

Is your CUCM already on 10.5???

You need to upgrade to the exact same version of 10.5 your CUCM is running.

That message is not enough to tell you what's wrong, you need to review the upgrade logs to pinpoint the issue.

yes, the CUCM is on. I used the exact the same version for CM and CUPS (10.5.1.10000).

I have attached the install log from my last try.

I've the same issue with CUPS migration 9.1.1 to 11.0.1.
