CUPS 9.0.1 - Postgres DB not working

Hi,

I've set up an external Postgres DB for persistent chat and compliance for Cisco Unified Presence Server 9.0.1.10000-21.

When sending IMs and group chat messages, I see that only 2 tables are populated: TC_ROOMS, TC_USERS.

The other tables: TC_MESSAGES, TC_TIMELOG, TC_MSGARCHIVE, JM are empty.

Any help?

Hi

Firstly have you actually turned on messagae archiving? I.e. enable the XCP Message Archiver etc, etc. as per

Secondly, try scanning the logs for errors relating to those tables? Send an IM and then try scanning the log files:

file search activelog / JM recurs reltime minutes 5
