We need to prefix all external numbers with a 0 for us to be able to call using Personal Cumminicator. I'm trying to do this through Application Dial rules.
I've configured an application rule in CUCM:
Begins With:
Number of Digits: 10
Digits removed: 0
Prefix with: 0
and restarted CUPS so that it picks up the rule. I've done a sql select on CUPS and can see the rule there.
I call a 10 digit number but the rule isn't being applied when I call using Personal Communicator.
Is there something I have missed that will enable the use of the rules?

If the dial rules shows up on CUPS, it's the CUPC's problem.
If you're using CUPC 7.x or lower, please exit and restart CUPC.
If you're using CUPC 8.x, please kill "cucsf.exe" from Task Manager.
This should refresh the dial rules on client side.

Hi Michael,
Thanks, that did the trick. Although, I know I restarted CUPC yesterday too, weird how it didn't work right away.
Anyway it's working now so I'm happy.
