I want to create a group of phones that have custom ringtones, but not allow the rest of the phones in the estate access to them.
I have created the .raw files and uploaded them and created a Ringlist2.xml which specifies these new ringtones.
The thing I can't work out is how to allow a group of phones to download the new Ringllist2.xml instead of the default one.
Can anyone help?
Thanks for reading.

Hi Charles
Unfortunately this isn't supported. You can only have a single RingList.xml file which all phones point to / use.

How about specifying a different tftp server for certain phones - is that possible?

Yes. That would work.
Point option 150 in your DHCP server scope for the phones in question to a different TFTP server which contains the altered RingList.xml file.

yes of course!
Is there a way I can mass tftp all the files off the server in one go? Or, how can I find out which files I need for a 7942?
