We have a customer who has requested this feature. He wants to be able to dial in to a DDI number, dial a number and then have the system call him back and then call the number.
The documentation seems a bit sketchy on this and a lot of it is old and seems to refer to CUMA and Cisco Mobile. Is this a feature that is available by simply mapping a DDI to a Dial Via Office DN number or has this been phased out with newer released (8.6.2) and Jabber?
Thanks
Sean

The closest you'll be able to get for now is the Mobile Voice Access feature where he dials a number, authenticates, and can the dial another number that CUCM sources from the user's DN. The only part it won't do is call the user (DVO-Reverse).
The DVO Forward/Reverse features are not supported by any currently shipping client. They used to be able to do this with CUMA but that is EoL. At least for now this hasn't made it's way into Jabber. The closest Jabber gets is a related feature where a call started on VoIP can be handed off to cellular. In that case CUCM does call the cell phone but the call has to start on VoIP.

Thanks Jonathan,
I have worked and done the training on UC8 and above and had never heard of this feature so assumed it must have been some sort of legacy thing. I have already configured MVA for the customer, so this will have to do them for now.
